AIRTEL MADAGASCAR AND TECNO SIGN PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT

Airtel Madagascar and Tecno Center, the first brand to launch dual SIM phones in the market, signed a partnership agreement at the Airtel Madagascar offices on July 15, 2016.

The agreement between the two parties was initialed by Tecno Center CEO Harijaona Randriarimalala, and Maixent Bekangba, the Airtel Madagascar CEO.

Under this agreement, all users buying a phone from Tecno Center will receive a free Airtel SIM with data connection ranging from 50 MB to 1 GB, depending on the price of the equipment.

On this occasion Maixent Bekangba said that the agreement, "heralds close collaboration between both bodies and helps to give all Malagasy the chance of accessing a mobile connection. This agreement is also in line with building the use of information and communications technology."

This partnership agreement with Tecno Center is part of a comprehensive Airtel approach to promoting democratization of ICTs in Madagascar.

Also expressing his gratitude to Airtel, Tecno Center CEO Harijaona Randriarimalala did not hide his satisfaction and enthusiasm for making the project sustainable, which in his opinion will also facilitate the Malagasy’s daily lives in terms of telecommunications.

Through its values of solidarity, respect, and dynamism Airtel Madagascar is committed on a daily basis to work with partners who share our vision: to see Madagascar developing in the swing with ICTs.
