AIRTEL and TIGO have now merged to be One Big Family of over 5 millions customers this means that customers are getting more value for their money as they are able to make calls to both AIRTEL and TIGO customers at the same rate and have access to the best voice packs in the market.

With AIRTEL and TIGO combining their strengths, internet quality has significantly improved giving to Internet users the best internet experience. AIRTEL and TIGO have revamped their internet packs and now they are offering the best in the market.

Lastly, AIRTEL and TIGO combined now have the widest mobile money agent network all over the country which means that customers can easily make their transactions and in the near future customers will have access to more services through Tigo cash and AIRTEL money.

How long are these packs going to stay?

These packs are permanent, customers can enjoy them as long as they want.

I am eligible to buy Youth packs, will I be continue to buy them?

Yes, both AIRTEL and TIGO customers who are eligible to buy youth packs (below 25 years) will be able to buy them on *154#.

If I have already bought a weekly or monthly pack will I continue to enjoy the benefits?

Yes, if you bought a weekly or monthly pack you will continue to enjoy the benefits that were given in the pack you purchased until the pack expires.

Will I be able to recharge airtime from a TIGO or AIRTEL agent?

Yes, you will be able to recharge airtime on any TIGO or AIRTEL agent around the country.

Going forward should I buy a TIGO or AIRTEL line?

You can buy any line, the benefits are the same.

Which call center number to use?

To contact the call center, AIRTEL customers can dial 456 and TIGO customers can dial 100

Will I still be able to use airtime loan services (Tira TIGO, AIRTEL itize)?

You will continue to use loan services if you are eligible, for both TIGO and AIRTEL customers the short code is *151#. The requirement to access airtime loan services remain unchanged.

Can I use my AIRTEL/TIGO line outside the country?

AIRTEL and TIGO customers will be able to roam in all the countries where AIRTEL and TIGO are present. Details of countries and roaming rates are available on the website-Being implemented

Will I be able to send or receive money from both AIRTEL  and TIGO customers?

Currently this service is not yet available to customers but in the near future both AIRTEL and TIGO customers will be able to send and receive money from each other.

Will I be able to withdraw money from an AIRTEL money or TIGO cash agent?

Currently this service is not yet available to customers but in the near future both AIRTEL and TIGO customers will be able to withdraw money from any AIRTEL or TIGO agent.

Will I still access 4G internet packs?

4G internet packs are accessible through *255# for TIGO customers and in the near future AIRTEL customers will also be able to purchase them.
